Columbia Spotted Frog
Identification/Variations: Columbia Spotted Frogs are a light to dark olive green color. They are medium sized and have significant spotting. They are also orange or red below, but not yellow like Cascades Frogs.
Range/Habitat: Columbia Spotted Frogs are found east of the Cascade Mountains in northeast Oregon and Washington, northern Idaho, and most of British Columbia. They frequent the edges of open shallow waters.
Notes: Until recently this frog was lumped together with the Oregon Spotted Frog.
