Long-Nosed Leopard Lizard
Identification/Variations: Long-Nosed Leopard Lizards are easy to identify by their large spots that resemble that of a leopard. The have large heads and one of the larger lizards in our area.
Range/Habitat:. Look for these lizards around sandy flats with loose soil in southeast Oregon and southwest Idaho.
Notes: While found in the northwest as far north as Umatilla County Oregon, it ranges south well into Mexico and east into Texas.
